"Pause" : For All Answers

Sometimes there are too many in-betweens in life that answering questions posed before us,
becomes an energy draining task. We simply do not have a crisp answer, as it stands digressed from the cliché and affords an explanation. Sometimes, convincing.

Lives are fast-moving and the world is fast-changing. Balancing the pace of our lives with our own pace and the pace of the world is in itself quite tedious a task, let alone keeping up with the biological pace of others around us, who belong to different generations and age categories. Therefore we shall find peace only the day we completely absorb the fact that, it is all okay and that answers needn’t be instantaneous. Answers can wait. Answers can reveal themselves. And that works much better than the worded ambiguities that we spell out in our perplexity.

We, as human beings are trained by the general principle of stimulus-response. It has been so ingrained in us since birth that, we have completely disregarded the importance of “pause” in life. Actions demand reactions. Situations exact opinions. Debates warrant a stance. And questions stimulate answers. And all in its immediacy.

All that the world needs is a “pause”. And it is to be used to fathom clarity from chaos. Organise your mind, organise yourself and everything literally and metaphorically falls in place. We got to do, what we got to do. And we are no less of a person for the things we do to survive. So, do it.

Results last longer than the actions committed towards it. Therefore, others will see it, just like you did when you started off. By then the questioned actions would fade off. Consequentially, questions fade off too. All that would remain would be the results and that would be your answer. And that is what will become your life.

So focus on the results you seek to achieve. No one knows you better than yourself. So, you keep questioning yourself at every stage. Anticipate beyond what can be anticipated. Criticise yourself, bluntly and intensely. And in the process, mould yourself and your actions, without hating or diminishing yourselves.

But all through, bear in mind that, the world is in it, together with us. So be empathetic. Do not direct anything towards others that you, yourself do not want to be directed against you. Live and
let live. Life is simple and beautiful, even though it doesn’t seem easy. But we have it in us to pedal through, maintaining the fine balance it takes to keep our lives steady. We are determined to move forward. We have got it!
