You are the one you had been waiting for!

As Zig Ziglar rightly said, “People say that motivation won’t last. Well neither does bathing. That’s why we recommend it daily.” And it is necessary that you motivate yourself everyday rather than wait for an inspiration. As somebody said once, “You are the one you had been waiting for.”
However, this does not come with an implication that you should only motivate yourselves. Like knowledge and love, motivation is one thing which you can divide without having it diminished.
Lately, I was in a quite upsetting, rather, tormenting mental stature when I felt quite useless with myself. But as said before, there’s no one you can wait for in this, far too busy world, who will reserve their valuable time for you. Especially in your times of trouble. Even your shadow leaves you when you are in the dark.
Anyhow, getting my mind out of the agonizing trench that it had fallen into became a necessity. And thus I started jotting down a thought each, everyday, on what went wrong that day. A span of 12 days gave me the following;
– Do not provoke anyone.
– Be intelligent and sensible. There are better things you need to be worrying about which are at-hand issues, rather than “what would’ve”, “what may”, “what might” and “what will”.
– Time is ticking at a pace as never before and there are people out there who are utilizing every second of it.
– Being a Jack of all trades makes you a master of none. You cannot do everything and still manage to achieve your goal by doing the task at hand in a manner better than others. So focus. You are a commoner.
– Work, there’s a bigger and more alluring reward awaiting you.
– If people are treating you as a mere option, help them narrow down their choices by removing yourselves from the option and also do not let them be a priority in your life. Why waste time?
– To say you’re busy or don’t have time is to say you’ve not learned to prioritize or rather do not know your priorities.
– Remember, “one who sweats more in practice, bleeds less in war”.
– People are not waiting your advice nor are they bothered about your opinions. And very often they are bored by your stories. Talk less. Save your energies for works demanding it and the ones needing it.
– Do not explain yourself. One who likes you doesn’t need it and the one who dislikes you won’t believe it.
– No one pays for your losses. So breaking your diplomatic shield and getting angry when need be, is not after all a sin.
– “Life’s battles do not always go to the stronger or faster man. But sooner or later the one who wins is the one who thinks he can.”

These seemed to work on me. But as I said motivation, is one concept which defies the basic mathematical principles. It multiplies, the more you divide it. So here I am sending it out to you. Hope you send yours out for the people around you as well.
